Analyze the benefits of paternity and maternity leave for men and women

The assignment is about gender so i thought we could look at the roles mothers and fathers play, the benefits for both men and women that maternity and paternity leave have, the benefits it has for the child, maybe what protections are in place for men and women and how they differ, the social stigmas behind taking paternity and maternity leave. the positive effects it has on mother father and baby as a unit, and maybe how leave benefits companies and boosts profits. also what policies civilized countries around the world including the u.s. have in place to protect both men and women in the work place. some links that might help with references.
