High School Essay Assignment For English/ Annotate an article

Go to AVL, click on “Student Resources” at the top
Then scroll down to “High School”
Look for the resource called “Literature Resources from Gale”
Type in “Gulliver’s Travels” in the search engine
Then you may narrow your search to “satire and the Lilliputians”
Select an article. Read and annotate the article text to help you write your essay. If you know how to save your article to a PDF and annotate, you may; however, you can simply print and annotate by hand since you aren’t submitting your annotations.
In three well-written paragraphs, discuss and defend how you see examples of satire in Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels book 1 chapters 1-4. Use your text to support your opinion as well as one article found from AVL.

You will add citations at the end. The source citation should be at the bottom of your article on AVL, and your e-text citation should look like the one below. Don’t forget to add the author and title to your introduction.
