Argumentative essay

In his article “Racial and Sexual Identity Politics,” Messner draws on feminist scholarship to suggest that “the pursuit of masculinity – rather than liberating men – tends to lock men into self-destructive behaviors and into oppressive, hierarchical, and destructive relations with women and with other men” (79). Do YOU agree or disagree with his suggestion? Why or why not?
