. Your proposal should be between 15 and 20 pages. Please treat 20 pages as a hard maximum. Your paper needs to include the title page, abstract, introduction, proposed method section, proposed results section, and a reference section. The introduction contains your literature review and provides the necessary background information for readers to understand your paper. Readers should be able to understand the following after reading your introduction: (a) why the “problem” (your research question) is important, (b) how your proposed study builds on, relates to, or is different from past research and theories. The introduction should also identify and explain your hypotheses and (briefly) introduce your approach toward examining the problem. The introduction needs to be at least 7 to 8 pages, 2 to 3 pages of proposed method section, 2 pages of proposed results, and 2 pages of references.
