Understanding the Citation in a Research Paper: Choose one of the five articles that you have used in your Annotated Bibliography assignment. Look at the “Works Cited” or “References” sections at the end of the articles. 1. Write an essay explaining the importance of citing other’s works when writing a paper. In the essays, describe in general, when it is appropriate to cite other papers. 2. Then, include the different purposes that five citations served in the article you chose, referencing each as you go along. Include a reference for your citation essays. The assignment must be typed, single-spaced, font 12. Include a cover page (first page), last page (the one with all of the references you chose to discuss in the essay. Please highlight the five (5) articles you are using on the reference page and also in the actual article where they are used.
