Beat Analysis Acting

Using the technique for Marking Beats, as explained in the “Beat Analysis” page located in the Week 5 Module, you will: Make and print a copy of your scene. Indicate all beat changes for your character with a pencil. Next, number each beat. For each numbered beat, please provide a brief explanation that justifies your beat placement and “tactic” you plan to use to achieve your objective. The “brief explanation” should only be a sentence or two. Your explanation should be handwritten in pencil, preferably in the margins of your scene. You may also number your sentences to correlate with the number of the beat it refers to. Once you feel like you have correctly identified all the beat changes and your tactics, submit your beat analysis by uploading it to this page.  As always, I will grade you on content, spelling, and grammar.
