Interpersonal Counseling Skills

Final Paper Due 12/10/2020

This final paper is a multi-part paper.

First, read the COUNSELING CASE STUDY: AN OVERWHELMED CLIENT. Then review the different counseling skills and concepts that we covered throughout the semester. In your paper discuss the follow:

What skills from our course did you see in the case study?
How were they modeled?
Do you believe the counselor use these skills well? If so, please discuss how. If not, please discuss why.
What skills from our course were not used in this case study? Discuss why they may not have been used.

After completing the above section. Consider all of the concepts and skills that we covered throughout the semester and create a script where you are the counselor working with Chris.

Please include at least three of the skills from our class in the script.

Then discuss:

What you believe went well in the script you created.
What Challenges in creating the script.

Your final paper should be APA-style paper (i.e. title page, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, header, Times New Roman, etc.). This paper should be between 7 to 10 pages. The page count DOES NOT include the title page.
