Below are a number Architects that have influenced the design trajectory over time. There is also a list of people who have made valuablecontributions to their design fields.
Choose a person and write about the history of the design or the designer’s philosophy.

FORMAT:
This essay must be typed and submitted via Canvas in the extra credit category. The length will be approximately 1,500-2,000 words. It is expected that not all sources will come from the internet but be found from library books, journals and magazines. If sources do come from the internet make sure they are credible sources, not Wikipedia or personal blogs. The essay is not a regurgitation of facts but a synthesis of observations that relate to the design or the designer’s beliefs. Write about the design period related to the topic and how these designs emphasize this style or begin to shift the current style into a new direction. Your writing should draw the reader into the essay-an intriguing introduction and strong thesis is essential. The thesis statement should either be italicized or in bold. The body of the essay must give strong details about the project or the person and their designs. This should include examples and details about the design or the designer’s work. You can make personal observations in the essay but make sure to back these arguments up.The essay will be checked by Turnitin. If there is any plagiarism or copying of writing without citation no extra credit will be received. You can include images to further reinforce the essay. Use an APA citation style and include all reference texts and sources at the endof the essay. Make sure to proofread the essay prior to turning it in for spelling and grammar mistakes.
