Journal should be a minimum of a full page (23 lines in MLA format) and not exceed a page and a half. Points should be separated by paragraphs and claims supported by quoting the primary text and/or the secondary source. This journal must be in the third person. Step 1: Select a Social organization that addresses and contributes to a social issue. Here is a list of options: Girls Not Brides, Global Witness, Fundacion Capital, B- Lab, Medic Mobile, Water & Sanitation For The Urban Poor, Slum Dwellers International, Color of Change, Unidos, Black Radical Congress, Innocent Project, United We Dream, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund, National LGBTQ Task Force. (You are not limited to this list. If you do select your own organization, please be sure to select an organization and not simply a movement.)There are many organizations to select from that are not present in the list. Make this your own ,and select one that speaks to you. Step 2: Synthesizing: Journal Must be in third person In this unit, we read SAP: Chapter 9 “Batman and Friends: Aristotle and the Dark Knight’s Inner Circle” By Matt Morris pages 102-117. Aristotle dissects what friendship and overall relationships among people really mean and are. Social organization are in essence by the people and for the people. How does the selected social organization establishes its relationship with the community it services and the services it provides. Connect your claims to the Aristotle’s theories. Step 3 : Secondary Source and Works Cited Page You will need to provide a secondary source in addition to your primary source Superheroes and Philosophy Truth Justice and the Socratic Way by Tom and Matt.
