(

points)
: the quality of your outline will be judged based on the
following:

Includes
all
major concepts of the chapters.

Includes important definitions.

Includes examples.

Adds personal clarifications or notes that simplify the student’s
understanding.

Optional but recommended: add images from the book or self

made.

Length moderation: the point of this assignment is to capture the chapter’s
main ideas
after reading and highlighting them.
There is not an expected
length for each chapter or for the assignment overall. However, you should
not aim for brief, as you should not aim to provide an extremely long
summary of the chapter. The point is to recognize major concepts and tie
examples to e
ach one of them.
Making concepts visually appealing can help
you get the flow of the material better.
Students who get full credit in this
assignment normally tend to turn in between 3

4 pages per chapter.

completed in red. You are welcome to
use different colors for better
visualization.

Use the format from the sample outline (or similar) for each week provided below.
This sample outline provides only a tentative layout for your outline. For each main
idea you will add a relevant piece of information, whether is description, relevance
of the topic, or a characteristic. There is no right or wrong way to make an outline,
as long as the ideas portrayed demonstrate that you understand the material. The
flow of the outline must be logical; so
,
make sure you are making the connections
clear.

Note: you are not supposed to use the headings provided by the sample.
These are jus
t
general words. Create your own headings based on the topic.
