BUS 102 – PRESENTATION

See the Persuasive Business Presentation Guide in this module for information about the presentation itself. The criteria for evaluating your presentation are there!

1. You are preparing a Persuasive Presentation of 6 to 8 minutes, from Introduction through Conclusion. This presentation must be PERSUASIVE, not just informative. Must be RELATED TO BUSINESS!

2. You are addressing a business audience. See the tab for examples of business audiences.

3. Submit your detailed plan of content for the presentation. This may be in detailed outline format; it does not need to be a word for word transcript. The document should clearly label the parts of the presentation and must have a complete list of sources. Be sure to specify statistics you will use to support your points! You may use APA or MLA format or any other appropriate format for the references. Remember, I use this document to evaluate your presentation content, which is worth 50 points.

NOTE: This course qualifies for the Information Competency requirement. Be sure you research data to support your ideas and use correct citation format.

4. Submit a Powerpoint (or other presentation software) slide presentation of approximately 8 to 12 slides. Follow the guidelines for slide design given in your text. Follow the rules given in this module. The rules form the basis of the score for your slides, which together are worth 30 points.

Upload your content plan and your slides. This is how you get credit for your content and your slides.

5. Deliver your presentation on your scheduled date. (Did you remember to sign up?) Your delivery is worth 50 points.
