ASSEMBLING THE BUSINESS PLAN

The business plan should be assembled into a suitable report format that is determined by many of your initial decisions, such as length and level of sophistication. A sample format appears in Exhibit 25–9.

If an appendix is desired, it should con- tain detail to support certain contents in the main part of the business plan. In preparing the final report, certain other logistics are important. It is expected, for example, that the pages should be numbered. (You might also want to add the date in the footer and perhaps a version number as well.) Although the report may or may not be bound, it should have all pages firmly secured.
