The effect of Muslim rule and civilization had major effects on the southern part of Spain, or the Iberian Peninsula. Discuss the cultural and religious conflicts that occurred in the Iberian Peninsula between Muslim and Christian factions and the efforts of Christian Spain to reclaim their territory and move the Muslims back to North Africa.
