Think of one technological advancement that has been recently by an organisation of your choice (any industry, any size, any country, for-profit or not-for-profit).
Critically evaluate the organisations strategy and its effectiveness presenting your findings on this change in the following format:
Part one:

Introduction

What were the drivers (external) behind the need to adopt this new technology?

How did the organisation (internally) identify the need for change?

Part two:

Research process, What technology solution was implemented? Why?

Part three:

What was the outcome? Has the technology been successful? What was the impact on the economy, business and the consumer?

What is your personal perspective on the approach that was adopted?

A – 4 – This is reserved for work of high quality which shows evidence of a deep understanding of and insight into the full range of ideas, principles, themes and/or techniques in question and independence of thought. It demonstrates a full and systematic understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, at or informed by the forefront of the area covered. Student has clearly spent time doing extensive background reading and research and has managed to apply models/theories in his/her answer. The wider topic was appropriately introduced and key definitions provided. Also, good use of examples throughout the answer.

B -3 – This range is for work which shows evidence of a very good understanding of the main ideas, principles, themes and/or techniques in question coupled with some insight and the expression of some independent thought. It demonstrates a systematic understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, much of which is at, or informed by, the forefront of the area in question.

C – 2 – This range is for work which shows evidence of appropriate study, presented clearly and adequately marshaled to illustrate the most significant of the main ideas, principles, themes and/or techniques in question and to demonstrate a sound grasp of them. It demonstrates a good understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, some of which is at, or informed by, the area investigated in the questions of the test.

D – 1 – The range is reserved for work that is lacking in some respects or contains flaws which are noticeable and serious enough to warrant the award of a failing grade, but nonetheless essentially approaches the criteria necessary for the good category sufficiently for it of itself not to prevent the award of an overall pass.
