Topic is:

• History of women in police

These topics are directly related to law enforcement which means that the paper should not be a sociological, political, or legal discussion of some law enforcement issues as those are more related to other courses.

Core Assessment Paper Guidelines

1. Write a paper at least 1000-1250 words (for body of paper) related to some aspect of law enforcement base on the following outcomes.
   1. Synthesize supporting academic resources on the topic of choice
   2. Describe the law enforcement concepts related to the topic of choice
   3. Demonstrate formal academic writing standards
   4. Illustrate the ability to author an paper on a law enforcement topic of your choice
2. Include at least 6 references:
   1. Identify five (5) library sources
   2. Textbook
3. Format in APA style(Links to an external site.) including the following:
   1. Title Page
   2. Abstract
   3. Essay narrative
   4. Reference page
4. All submitted papers must be in Microsoft Word format.
5. All core assessments will be processed through Turnitin for determination of similarity that should not exceed 30%. That means that all content must be 70% original (your word). Any any all outside assertions must be given both in-text and reference list citation.
