Reporting and disclosure of Intangible asset

Each student is required to choose an ASX listed firm and analyse its 2019 financial statements. ( The financial statement for chosen company is attached. The analysis must focus on discussing the firm’s reporting and disclosure practices on intangible assets. The discussion must be supported by the requirements prescribed by AASB 138 and relavant academic and professional discourse.

Justify why the firm adopted the polict in its 2019 financial reports rather than other policies permitted under AASB 138. Students are also required to research on the econimic, institutional, historical and cultural backgrounds of the firm to make its accounting choice in relation to intangible assets.

Please include a brief description of company background in the beginning. For the referencing, please only use academic references and you can use any referencing style. I have already attached the financial statement of my chosen company and the relevant accounting standard, AASB138 with the question.
