Answer the following questions in a word file.

(A) Identify at least 2 projects that are being undertaken by any organization or a government agency by searching current news. Summarize the project and also state its objective and timeline. Include a link from where you obtained the information.

(B) Check out the Project Management Institute’s home page at www.pmi.org and do some additional search to find out:

(i) How many members does PMI have?
(ii) What knowledge areas are included in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 6th edition?
(iii) What certifications does PMI offer?
(iv) Go to a job search website and cite at least 2 openings that needs project management skills. A position description would be sufficient along with the reference link to state where you obtained that information from.

(C) State the mission statement of a company/organization. Then identify the types of projects they undertake. Analyze if the projects align with organization’s mission. Include a link from where you obtained the information.

Part 2.

(A) Search the web for “project risk management” and describe at least two websites that you find in (a), (b), (c) format. You will get up to 1 point extra credit for your detailed response.

(B) Look up any project that was conducted in the past. It can be a commercial or a government project that was published on a public domain or media. (a) Provide complete information of the project that you are describing. (b) Identify at least 4 risks that could have jeopardized the project (high impact). (c) What risk management strategies were used to overcome those risks?
