Lifestyle Essay

As you may have learned in Module One, many individuals feel that lifestyle dictates happiness. Essentially, we are born into a particular lifestyle, the one our parents/guardians provide for us. And oftentimes we don’t question the lifestyle we are born into if it’s comfortable. Some of the most common lifestyles in America are suburban and urban lifestyles. These lifestyles often mimic the quintessential American Dream. American culture values material gains and monetary wealth, and the suburban and urban lifestyles that many Americans live embody these values.
Though urban and suburban lifestyles align with many comforts, social media and globalization have exposed alternative lifestyles that many have drifted towards for mental and physical health.
In this essay you will compare and contrast benefits and disadvantages of an “alternative” lifestyle. Your thesis should express whether the benefits outweigh the disadvantages of the lifestyle. This essay requires THREE different CREDIBLE sources.
