Paradigm for Jainism

1. A paradigm is not a summary outline. Do not submit a skimpy treatment of the religions. Instead, following the headings presenting in number two and present each of the religions in as much detail as to make the topic clear and complete.
2. Use the headings in each paper:
3. Origin (country)
4. Founder
5. Concept of God or the supernatural including spirits, both good and evil
6. Concept of Humanity – As people relate to the supernatural and nature
7. Concept of Sin (what constitutes sin or a serious offense)
8. Concept of Salvation (the final goal of man or their view of the afterlife)
9. Means to Salvation (or way to achieve Salvation or to reach the afterlife)
10. Sacred Writings (scriptures)
11. EVERY HEADING MUST BE ADDRESSED AND NEEDS TO HAVE ITS OWN HEADING.
12. To get full credit for your Jainism Paradigm, you must address and list the following doctrines somewhere within the paper where they FIT THE BEST.

Jiva, Ajiva, Himsa, Tapas. and the Three-fold Path or Three Jewel

5. Remember, I am looking for LISTS.
6. Submit a bibliography for sources used.
7. Paradigms will be graded according to content, grammar, spelling, and neatness.
