During the semester, you will need to write ONE (1) paper. You have FIVE (5) opportunities to write this ONE (1) paper. This is a short paper — no more than 2 full pages, plus a Work Cited Page.
You will need to find a political cartoon from the last 3 years that describes a national issue that corresponds to the Unit of your choice. Once the cartoon is selected, you will write a 2-page paper, describing the message the cartoonist is trying to convey. Next, you will discuss whether you agree with the cartoonist’s message or disagree. Why or why not? Remember to include a copy of the cartoon in the paper as well as attach a Work Cited page letting the reader know where the political cartoon was found and who drew it. Any additional sources used in the paper need to be listed on the Work Cited Page as well.
