World Literature

This week you will develop an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography is just like a References List—a list of citations to books, articles, and documents, both text and electronic—with one addition. Each entry includes a paragraph that 1) briefly summarizes the source, 2) tells how you will use it in an essay, and 3) evaluates its credibility.

To complete this week’s assignment, you will need to use the South University Online Library to locate four sources about your Week 5 essay topic (see: Week 5 Literary Analysis for more detailed information). In Week 5 you will write about The Metamorphosis. For each source, you will create a citation formatted in APA style. Under each citation insert a paragraph that summarizes the source, tells how you will use it, and evaluates its credibility.

This is an assignment that will require you to spend some time researching, so plan accordingly. The sources that you choose can be eBooks, chapters in books, scholarly journal articles, or credible online materials. Librarians are available to help you with your research.
