The purpose of this assignment is to allow students to meet course outcomes while unable to attend Field Placement
• DUE DATE-See Course Schedule Spring 20-due by midnight (11:59 pm) on the due date
• Assignment is worth 25% of your final grade. See rubric for assessment criteria.
• You can expect to receive feedback within 2 weeks.
• Late assignments will not be accepted.(*mark of 0 if not submitted/late without consulting instructor for approval before due date as per policy)
• Alternative assignments are not offered to make up grades. The expectation is that the required work is completed as outlined.

PART ONE:

2. Once you have completed your Lynda.com module, obtain your certificate.
3. From your name in the top right corner, select Certificates from the dropdown list. Save as a PDF and upload to ‘Assignments’.
Your successful submission of each Certificate of Completion will indicate you have completed each module.
4. REFLECTION:
For each module answer the following and submit as a 2-3 page reflection paper:
1. How does the information and skills you gained from this module help develop your professional identity as a CYC?
2. What aspects of this module are already professional strengths for you as a CYC? What aspects of this module are goal areas for your professional CYC self? Give specific examples from the module and relate them to your work/volunteer/life experiences. Be sure to address both strengths and goals.
PART TWO:
CYC Podcast
1. Choose 2 podcasts form the CYC Podcast website and listen to them: CYC Podcast (Links to an external site.)
For each podcast answer the following and submit as a 2-3 page reflection paper:

PART THREE:
CYC Net:

b) Reading: Readings (Links to an external site.)( Choose a specific article in this section.)
For each item answer the following and submit as a 1-2 page reflection paper:

Therapeutic Tools:
1. Research 3 internet resources directly related to CYC specific topic areas.
These resources need to be useful in creating therapeutic activities, supporting youth, etc..
2. Include a brief summary of the activities and source.
3. Provide an example of the therapeutic goal that could be met using this resource. (Remember what you know about goals: SMART goal, youth-based, specific, etc!)
4. Reference the resource/activities using APA formatting.

• Double spaced
• Follow APA format i.e. title page, formatting, referencing
• Assignment must be submitted in one of the following file format(s):

• Submit your work by midnight (11:59 pm) on the due date
• Double check your submission to be sure it is the right assignment, that it can be opened, etc.
Reference your work. All referencing needs to be in APA format.
