“Charlie Kernaghan, Keeper of the Fire: Student Activism against Sweatshop labor by Charles Bowden

some things you might want to address are whether or not you are aware that many of the clothing/toys/shoes that we buy, come from exploited or even child and slave labor? You may also want to discuss if students at a place like ULM or wherever you live, could or would do something in order to make sure that items with a ULM logo did not involve exploited/child/slave labor, even if it meant paying up to triple the amount of the current prices. Perhaps a separate issue, but I also find it interesting that if you go shopping in Monroe that it is easier to get LSU apparel than ULM! I understand that LSU is in the South-Eastern-Conference with a lot of exposure, but what is up with the fact that some places sell LSU and NOT ULM.
