Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to help you to gain familiarity with the use of communication skills in meeting the needs of your clients in crisis situations

Tasks: At the beginning of the semester, you were assigned an intervention episode to view with a client who presented with a specific disorder. (YOU DID PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT, I CAN SEND DOCUMENT.. IF I NEED TO)
To complete this task, you are being asked to hone in on the intervention part of your assigned episode (specifically with all family members and the interventionist in the same room. Typically towards the end of the video). You are being asked to discuss the following: (1) What communication/microskills did you notice were being used during the intervention? (2) What was the client’s response to the use of these skills? (3) Was the interventionist and family members successful at communicating with the client? Why or why not? Your response should be no less than 2-3 paragraphs and should be double-spaced.
