Identify real world data to analyze

This week, you just need to find some real-world data to use for your IRP.

You can any data that you have access to from work, home, organizations that you belong to that you have the right to use. We will not publish this analysis, but it will be shared in your presentation, so make sure that it is not sensitive information (contains personal identifying information). Please review the IS 3310 Data Policy discussed during the first week of the course.

However, if you do not have access to any data, you can find many different data sets from the links listed below. Do you have a question about health, economy, jobs, etc.? There is probably data out there, you just have to find it. Explore the various links and see what types of data sets are available for you to analyze.

If you identify additional websites with data, share it with me and I will add it to this document and share it with the class.

Once you have found the data you would like to use for your IRP, simply describe the name of your data set, its source, the number of records, and the number of attributes.  For example, I might have a question about future employment, and I went to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. My assignment response would be:

The data set for your IRP should have at least 100 records, and four attributes.
