COVID – 19 in Northwest Arkansas

Before making a case for an evidence-based project, it is essential to understand the culture of the organization in order to begin assessing its readiness for EBP implementation. Select an appropriate organizational culture survey tool and use this instrument to assess the organization’s readiness.

1. Develop an analysis of 250 words from the results, addressing your Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville Arkansas, readiness level- WRMC had a pandemic policy was already in place , possible project barriers – WRMC barriers was the unknown factors about COVID and not have all the PPE like N-95 mask, and ventilators along with negative pressure rooms needed if the amount of people needing ventilators exceed 120 units and facilitators, as well as how to integrate clinical inquiry – WRMC had to write new policies to reuse N 95 mask if the supply became depleted. Furthermore, the number of covid test kits were limited at first to those with only symptoms of fever, cough and or shortness of breath, testing centers were set up and call in screening center was put into place. Test results were taking up to a week to return with the results in the beginning.All non-emergency surgeries or procedures were stopped and lots of employee were furloughed.
2. Make sure to include the rationale for the survey categories scores that were significantly high and low, incorporating details and/or examples. Also explain how to integrate clinical inquiry into the organization, providing strategies that strengthen the organizations weaker areas. WRMC obtained mask from different organizations for all the workers to have that were homemade, along with local business that donated mask and hand sanitizer. The test kits became more available and now anyone that wants to be test can have a Covid test ran at no charge.
3. Submit a summary of your results. The actual survey results do not need to be included.
