I have biology quiz that is statistics related, it will only be 4 questions and its Multiple choice. we will have 20 min to complete them so 5 min for each one. I will be able to see the quiz as soon as i hit start. i will attach a practice question they will not be the quiz but its just to give an idea of the maerial.
n climax tallgrass prairie ecosystems, four common perennial plant functional groups are found: cool season grasses, warm season grasses, nitrogen-fixing legumes, and composites. A group of ecologists attempts to establish a perennial community on recently abandoned cropland dominated by annuals. They plant seed mixtures of the four functional groups on 10 x 10m plots as follows: mixture A: 1 species from each group (4 total), mixture B: 2 species from each group (8 total) and mixture C: 4 species from each group (16 total). They replicate each treatment 5 times. They measure the following each year for 10 years: annual precipitation, annual plant species richness, perennial plant species richness, % cover of annuals, and % cover of each functional group by sampling ten 1 meter linear transects within each replicate. Annual plant species colonize plots from the local seed pool and are not planted by the ecologists. Species richness is the number of species found in a sample and for a plot is averaged over the 10 samples. % cover is the linear cover of a species or functional group from a transect and for a plot is averaged over the 10 samples.

1.If the ecologists plot variable y by x, they are testing which hypothesis – or –
If the ecologists are testing hypothesis z they would plot which variable y by x
2. Given the independent or dependent variable z, is it measured on a continuous or nominal scale
3. If the ecologists plot variable y by x, they are using which statistical test
4. Given the equation of the line, the differences in means, the RSquare values, the p value, what can you infer about the hypothesis tested.
