By asserting that ethical standards are entirely determined by cultural norms, it fails to recognize the inherent dignity and worth of all individuals, irrespective of cultural backgrounds (Brown, 2008). Universal moral absolutes, on the other hand, provide a framework that upholds the principles of equality, justice, and human rights, which are essential for the well-being of individuals and societies.
